Hi, I'm Priya! I am currently working at Google as a UX Researcher on the Fitbit team. I have a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University and my undergraduate background is in Cognitive Science and Economics, so yes I will analyze your behavioral tendencies (just kidding).
I'm very motivated to create inclusive and seamless product experiences for people. There is so much opportunity in the areas of IoT and AI that I'm intrigued by, but without thoughtful, human-centered design, products may not unlock their full potential for impact. I hope to make a difference by designing products that fit into people's lives with minimal disruption.
In my free time, I'm a huge music-lover (classic rock and 80s pop is my happy place) , I enjoy writing, and playing table tennis. Or you could catch me playing my flute, clumsily learning the electric guitar, and going on nature walks.
